11th German-Libyan Business Forum

The Afrika-Verein (German African Business Association) will continue to focus on the further development of the German-Libyan business relations and will organise the 11th German-Libyan Business Forum from 3rd – 5th November 2008.
We are happy to tell you that the German Minister of Economics, Michael Glos, is intending to open the conference. This shows the importance of the forum as a platform for the German-Libyan business relations.
As in the last ten German-Libyan Business Forums since its foundation in 1997 we are expecting a high ranking Libyan delegation to the conference.
The German and Libyan experts will present and discuss the following issues of the German-Libyan business relations:
• Conventional Power
• Renewable Energies
• Infrastructure and Environment
• Healthcare, Education and Training
Another main focus will be a marketplace as a platform for individual business contacts.
